Why We're Here

If there's one thing I've learned since starting this blog here at the BSAT its that the state of college admissions is changing. The SAT is already entirely different than when college super seniors took it. There are even schools that don't require these heinous tool of oppression anymore.

But then there are some, at websites that look suspiciously like they're trying to sell you car insurance, who still insist upon its relevance. And while she couches her point in an ostensibly pro-student fashion, everyone knows that anyone who comes down on the sides of standardized tests is a facist tool of the testing industry.

It is for this reason, ladies and gentlemen, that the BSAT exists. So that no word problem go without a reference to farts ripped or the potential for acquiring STDS; so that no celebrity goes un-questioned; so that somehwere deep within the twisted recesses of this process someone can find a laugh. Because as anyone who's ever taken a standarized test knows: if we can't take a joke, we're all fucked. But if we can, we'll we're still fucked. But at least we're going down laughing.
