When Should You Take the BSAT?
Today the Charlotte Observer offers answers to the dilemma of whether to take the SAT or the ACT. Their advice is well thought out.
Some samples:
Take the SAT when you're a "bright underachiever". This is to say take the SAT when if you'd be getting good grades if you weren't lazy, and possibly not that smart.
Take the ACT when you're "a 'book-smart over-achiever' but not the best test taker". So...basically...take the ACT if you're good at school, just not tests, which is sort of like being good at cross country, just not running.
Still, I'm sure many of you are wondering when you should take the BSAT. Well here are our answers:
Students Who Should Take the BSAT
If you feel 4 times as likely to get a 5-part multiple choice question wrong as you are to get it right.
If you're Scantron bubble-art portfolio is diverse enough to range all the way from recently ejaculated penis to currently ejaculating penis.
Bright underachievers
Not-so-bright underachievers
Dumb-as-fuck underachievers
Little Lebowski Urban Achievers
Anyone who's ever used their alloted "scratch paper" and test time to draw a schematic for their plan to infiltrate College Board headquarters and go postal on their asses. Or, failing that, at least rip a giant, nasty string of broccoli farts.
People Who Shouldn't take the BSAT
Anyone who makes sure to leave 5 minutes to check their work.
Anyone who finds this funny in an unironic sort of way
