One of the cooler things about college is that stuff that you thought was long forgotten in your childhood comes back…with a vengeance. Naps? No longer relegated to the floor of your kindergarten classroom, they’re back in a big way. Nickelodeon shows? Also back, and now more than ever thanks to youtube, DVD sets and drinking games. (Try watching an episode of “Hey Dude” and draining a beer every time Mr. Ernst says something clearly written by a child psychologist. It’s Dangerous.) And perhaps best of all: Nerf.

I would cover my entire dorm room with Nerf if I could, and quite honestly I can’t imagine anything more fun (even if it wouldn’t exactly distinguish oneself from a garden variety crazy). Nerf basketball one-on-one is great for its combination of hoops, beer pong and Greco Roman wrestling (no fouls!), and you can never underestimate the awesomeness of having a Nerf football or two lying around.

But probably the best dorm room Nerf activity is an all own Nerf dart gun battle royale. Whether you organize a game of assassins with some friends, shoot the night’s designated “beer bitch” in the face whenever a cold one is needed or reenact the climactic shootout from “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly” synched up with music, you can’t go wrong with foam dart guns.
