What's So Great About Clones
I would like to have a clone. I would like to have a clone for many reasons in fact. A clone is so
exactly like me that you could hardly believe it. You know, I could really use a clone because they have to do whatever you want. That’s what clones are for.
Things I could make my clone do are:
1. going to class. Lots of us are very busy and I’m one of them. So I could send my clone. Who
would know?
2. test things out on it, like does this medical procedure hurt or not? I could wait outside
and if I hear him screaming like crazy, there’s your answer.
3. also to see if I was going to get some weird genetic thing like Six-Finger Disease where the
test is sticking a needle in your eyeball or something. I could make the clone do it instead of me.
And that works, because usually everybody is different, but not me and my clone. So if the answer was yes, I’m going to get that disease, then I’d be right to be scared all the time.
I know what you’re thinking. “Big shot, what if your clone argues with you about all this?” I
argue a lot and so he would probably too. But here’s my answer. I just had this idea and I am already 16 so my clone will be younger than me and also smaller. So even if Mr. Cloneboy doesn’t
want to do what I say, he will have to because I said so.
But now I also again know what you’re thinking. If my clone is so much younger than me, how
will the going to class instead of me thing work? And that’s right. So I take that part back.
Even if we sometimes disagree though, I think my clone and I have a lot in common. It’s evenbetter than a twin because even the Olsen twins have their own differences. But a clone doesn’t have that excuse. It’s me and that’s it. But he could learn from me and not screw up all the time. Also I could talk to my clone about really private things (like that rash).
I believe that for the reasons above but also others, clones should become very popular. And you know, my clone might want his own clone but I’d have to see about that.
