A Growing Problem

Sometimes amidst all the hustle and bustle of the holiday shopping season, we forget what the season is truly about: gluttonously stuffing our faces with as much unhealthy food as humanly (or inhumanly) possible. Luckily the folks on reality television are here to remind us of that fact.

NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” plans to unveil its heaviest contestant ever in 526 lb DJ Mike Ventrella. Meanwhile 218 lb competitive eater Joey Chestnut holds the world’s record for eating 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. If each hot dog weighs .25 lbs, approximately how much would Mike Ventrella have to eat in 12 minutes to consume the equivalent percentage of his body weight?
